Marcos Lopez

Marcos has been involved with Solium since the company's inception in 1999 and is the chief architect of Solium's Shareworks™ technology. Marcos led all aspects of application development, system maintenance, and was primarily responsible for all technology related relationships within Solium. Marcos assumed the role of President of Solium’s wholly-owned US subsidiary in 2006 as we extended our global reach. He will now shift his focus to business development and corporate strategy.

Marcos joined the Solium Board of Directors in November 2001. At that time, Marcos was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bitonic Solutions Inc.; the outsourced development company responsible for the architecture, development and maintenance of the E-SOAP application. In May 2002, Solium signed a Letter of Intent, to acquire Bitonic Solutions and Marcos joined Solium's executive.

Marcos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary. Marcos, together with his business partner at Bitonic Solutions, was awarded the 2001 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Business Development Bank of Canada.
